The Commitee

For the performance of duties specified in the 2012 Rules of the Association, the Committee of  AEA consists of :

  • the President;
  • the Vice President;
  • the  Secretary;
  • the Treasurer;
  • ordinary members (if any) elected under rule 53

 

Membership rights and privileges

Individual, Concession and Associate Members of AEA shall receive all publications and information disseminated by AEA, and are eligible to receive assistance as outlined in section 3.2, vote at the Annual General Meeting of AEA, and hold office in AEA.

Institutional Members of AEA receive all publications and information disseminated by the Association.

Affiliated State and Territory Organisations shall receive all information and publications from AEA. Members of an Affiliated State or Territory Organisation shall receive all information from AEA via the national, state or territory Art Education organisation to which they belong. Through their delegates, members of an Affiliated State or Territory Organisation may cast votes at the Annual General Meeting equal in number to five percent (5%), rounded to the nearest whole number, of their membership number as of the previous March 31 up to a maximum of 20 votes.
Delegates of an Affiliated State or Territory Organisation affiliated with AEA shall vote as representatives of their affiliated organisation.

Each AEA State Vice President or their appointed representative shall attend the Annual General Meeting of AEA, as set out in Section five of the constitution

Corporate Members shall receive all publications and information disseminated by AEA.
