Art Education Australia

Australian Art Education Journal Editor - Dr Martin Kerby

Martin has worked in the education sector since 1989 in a variety of teaching and leadership positions. He has recently been awarded three state and federal government grants in the fields of the Arts and History. As a holder of two PhDs and the current editor of a Palgrave Macmillan Handbook on cultural and artistic responses to conflict, Martin is passionate about the dissemination of high quality research. He sees Australian Art Education as having a vital role to play in both that process and in the creation of a community of educators, artists, researchers, and museum and gallery professionals.

With this announcement, we would like to share with you a call for submissions for journal articles for upcoming volumes of Australian Art Education. We will be publishing two volumes before the end of the year and will then settle into a regular pattern of releases in 2018 and beyond. The journal and submission process has been subject to a number of alterations in order to ensure that it meets the criteria for inclusion into Scopus. We encourage you to circulate this invitation widely among your colleagues.
